Airtime Acrobatics is built around a training structure inspired by circus schools.

The program combines high-intensity technical classes with creative and exploratory sessions, giving you the opportunity to develop strong fundamentals while also discovering your own style within acrobatics.

Throughout the day, there is space for free training, where you can work on your own material while receiving feedback, spotting, and support from the teachers.

A Structured but Flexible Training Environment

Each day offers multiple classes across different disciplines, levels, and focuses.

The structure provides a clear training framework while still allowing flexibility to adapt to the needs and interests of the participants.

Each week includes around 37 hours of classes and training opportunities, including:

  • Standing acrobatics

  • Handstands

  • Tumbling

  • Strength and conditioning

  • Flexibility

  • Creative and movement-based classes

Training Beyond Technique

Airtime is not only about learning tricks.

A strong focus of the program is understanding how to train:

  • How to build progressions

  • How to work towards long-term goals

  • How to connect skills and transitions

You are encouraged to actively engage with your own training process — not just follow instructions.

Safety, Spotting & High-Level Training

Safety and spotting are not just mentioned — they are actively practiced.

The program includes dedicated spotting training, as well as sessions in more demanding, high-focus environments.

This creates a space where participants learn to take responsibility — for themselves and for each other.

Progression — Within a Week and Across the Program

The program is designed to support your development no matter how long you stay.

Each week has its own progression, while the full program allows for deeper development over time.

You will benefit from any single week — but staying longer allows you to fully immerse yourself and get significantly more out of the experience.

A Team of Experienced Teachers

The Airtime team consists of professional acrobats, handbalancers and artists with many years of experience as both performers and teachers.

Their teaching goes beyond isolated skills and focuses on building strong foundations, creating progressions and integrating technique with creativity.

The Core Idea

Airtime is about creating an environment where people can train seriously, support each other and push their limits — while still keeping the open and creative spirit of acrobatics.

Tracks & Schedule

The Gym

Airtime Acrobatics takes place in a fully equipped training space in Mannheim, designed to support intensive acrobatic training.

The gym offers around 666 m² of space, allowing multiple classes to run in parallel while still leaving room for free training.

With approximately 333 m² of mats, a large number of longes (~100 when I last counted) and around 20 crash mats, the space is built to train safely and progressively.

Additional equipment includes:

Airtrack
Spotting boxes
Canes and handstand blocks

This setup allows participants to work on both technical details and more dynamic elements in a controlled environment.

Why Airtime

About Airtime Acrobatics

Airtime Acrobatics was created to bring together people who want to train seriously and explore the possibilities of partner acrobatics.

The idea was simple:

Create a place where people can train like in a circus school environment, while still keeping the open and creative spirit of the acro community.

Over the years Airtime has grown into a unique training event where participants from different countries come together to train, learn and push their limits.
